The last time you were in an electrical component store, such as Radio Shack, did you happen to notice the two way Radios that they have on their shelves? They were small, compact, very attractive and surprisingly cheap. Then when you stopped by a larger warehouse style store, you may have noticed that the employees were also carrying two way Radios that they used to communicate with each other at the work place. Are these the same two way Radios that you saw back at the little electrical component shop?

The fact is, that while they may look quite similar at first glance, they are quite different in a number of ways. To begin with, the cute, inexpensive clip on models back at the store are manufactured to much Lighter specifications for occasional family style use. Accidentally drop one on the floor and there is a good chance that that will be the end of it.
