Keep in mind that these vinegar remedies are not designed to give results right away. You must give the natural remedy some time to take effect - three to four weeks minimum. All the below recipes use white vinegar, which is easily found in any grocery store.

Lighten Brown Spots - Grate an onion into clean pantyhose or cheesecloth. In order to extract the juice, squeeze the shredded onion - you should get about a tablespoon of juice, depending on how much onion was grated. Pour two tablespoons of vinegar into a mug and add the onion juice. Apply this mixture to the brown spots at least twice a day. Using this recipe should eventually Lighten the brown spots. Note that you can make as much of this recipe as you choose - simply keep the ratio of 1 part onion juice to 2 parts vinegar.

Have a headache? - For headaches, dip a clean bandanna or handkerchief in vinegar, squeeze out the excess and apply to the forehead. Lie down and the headache should be gone after 20-30 minutes.

Poison Ivy Rash - Using a one to one ratio, mix rubbing alcohol and vinegar together. Dab on the rash when it begins to itch. Not only will this mix take away the itching, it will help the rash dry up.

Nail Fungus Infection - This is the most interesting of the vinegar remedies. Don't bother with the high priced prescription medication that may give you side effects. You can simply dab straight vinegar on the affected toenails or soak your feet in a solution of vinegar and water, heavy on the vinegar. If you have enough vinegar on hand, you can soak your feet in straight vinegar.

Itchy Dry Skin - Pour about 1/2 cup vinegar into a tub of warm water and soak yourself. The vinegar will soften your skin, take away the itch and actually keep your bathtub cleaner.

Sunburn - To take away the pain of sunburn, spray vinegar on the affected skin. In lieu of a spray bottle, dip a clean cloth in vinegar and place it on the burned skin. Cold vinegar will help alleviate the burn pain even faster.
